Jimmy’s passion is teaching youth how to have a genuine relationship with God, and encouraging them to get into His word. He grew up in Tustin and studied at Calvary Chapel Bible College in both Colorado and Hawaii before attending Vanguard University. If he’s not playing games with the youth group or writing a message in his office, you can find Jimmy surf fishing with Pastor Jeff or going on an adventure with his wife. Heather grew up in Southern California but has moved to both Washington and New York for brief periods of time. She loves all things travel and even spent time studying tourism before becoming a preschool teacher. Here at church she helps her husband with the youth group, works in the office, and manages the social media accounts. If she’s not here, you’ll probably find her listening to Broadway music on the way to Disneyland.
Michelle has been our Children’s Ministry Director since 2015. She and her husband, Gene, have been married for thirty-two years and have three grown children. She has no grand-babies yet, so she pours her love into the little ones of Lighthouse, and she loves coming alongside parents to help equip them to raise their children to love God. Michelle is a modern-day treasure hunter, though the X on her treasure map leads to estate sales. But her absolute favorite way to spend an hour is having coffee with a friend. Michelle lives with and invests in 14 girls who are not her daughters. Meet her for a cup of coffee and she would love to tell you all about it.
Pete is originally from Redding, CA but now lives in Huntington Beach with his wife Nina, and two kids (Chris and Lucy). When he’s not leading worship at Lighthouse, Pete is a Special Education teacher at a local elementary school. As the Worship Director at Lighthouse, Pete is passionate about helping others draw near to Jesus. He believes that songs, hymns, and spiritual songs all enable God’s people to communicate with our Creator in ways that ordinary words cannot. Therefore, he is grateful to serve the Lord at Lighthouse.

Local and Global Missions
Don, aka “Pirate Don,” is originally from South Africa, but crossed the Atlantic to the U.S. in his 20’s as a crewmember on a small sailboat (without any prior sailing experience). In his earlier years, he was a trapeze artist, then a soldier in the Angolan War. Don met Jill, an Orange County native with an MBA and a love for other cultures, about 35 years ago, and together they raised two boys who have now successfully “launched” (well, almost). They have a heart for missions, once taking the kids and spending a year sailing around the Caribbean showing the Jesus film. Don and Jill love helping people step outside of their comfort-zone to serve others in Jesus’ name, both at home and abroad.
