Senior Pastor

Pastor Jeff Lee was born in Newport Beach and grew up in Orange County. He received his MA in Christian Education and a BA in Leadership. Jeff has a heart for evangelism and enjoys volunteering as a local Police Chaplain.  His favorite Bible passage is 1 Corinthians 9:16-23 which defines his call, “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.” He and his wife, Jennifer, were married in 1985 and are grateful to have spent the last 30 years doing ministry together. They have three grown children, four grandsons, and one granddaughter. In his free time, Jeff can be found at the golf course or at the beach fishing. He is also a massive Dodger fan.

Elder

John was born and raised in rural Michigan. His hometown was small with a population of fewer than 300 people. He attended Michigan State University and after graduating, he joined the United States Marine Corp and served on active duty from 1966-1969. He is a Vietnam veteran serving from 1967-68. He married his wife Cathy in 1969 and recently celebrated 54 years together. They have lived in Huntington Beach for almost 40 years. Kathy was a high school Spanish teacher and still works as a substitute in the Huntington Beach School District. They have two sons, Brian and Michael, both married, and two grandsons, Henry and Xavier. John retired from Mars, Inc after 20 years where he was Director of Raw Material Purchasing. He has been a member of Lighthouse for over 15 years.and was both humbled and honored to be asked to serve as an Elder.

Elder

Glenn has been a member of Lighthouse Church since 2002 and has served over the past 20 years as Worship Team member and leader, Small Group leader, and rotating Board member. Professionally, he is winding down a 45-year career as owner and principal of VentureFilms Productions. Glenn and Ann were married in 2003 and share her two adult children and two grandchildren. Most days you’ll see Glenn walking with his dog, Billy, making connections and friends within our wonderful Costa Mesa neighborhood. His desire for Lighthouse is to see people truly experience the adventure of living a Christ-centered life.

Elder

Mark has been a member of Lighthouse since the merge of Pacific Heights Church and First Baptist Church in 1997. He was on the committee which developed and implemented the founding documents. He and his wife, Robyn, have been married for over 35 years. She’s been working in the church office for 23 years and also leads worship twice a month. They have two adult children and two young grandchildren – with one more on the way! They are blessed to be able to spend 1-2 days a week watching them and absolutely love being grandparents.  He currently leads the Tech Team which is responsible for sound, lighting and streaming the church service.

Elder

Randy and his wife Patty, have been married over 48 years, were both born and raised in Southern California. Their daughter and son-in-law are teachers and have two boys (5 & 2) Randy’s desire to share the Good News has become second nature to him since giving his life to Christ. Forgiven and Blessed are more than just words to him now – they are his reality. Randy enjoys time with their Grandsons, woodworking, kayaking in Newport Bay, volunteering at Orange Rotary Club, barbecuing and relaxing with his wife, friends and neighbors.

Elder

My wife, Debbie, and I have been members of Lighthouse Community Church for about two years. We married in 1982 and have two children and five grandchildren. Both our son and daughter live in Orange County and as such, we get to spend lots of time with our grandkids, which is a real blessing. Early in our marriage, we attended big Calvary for a short time, but realized we needed to be in a smaller church where we could be accountable and get to know people as we served the Lord. Over the years, I have served in Men’s Ministries, Children’s Ministries, led bible studies and home groups. Additionally, I was a treasurer and assistant treasurer. Both Debbie and I participated in premarital counseling.
