LEADERSHIP

Senior Pastor

Pastor Jeff Lee was born in Newport Beach and grew up in Orange County. He received his MA in Christian Education and a BA in Leadership. Jeff has a heart for evangelism and enjoys volunteering as a local Police Chaplain.  His favorite Bible passage is 1 Corinthians 9:16-23 which defines his call, “I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some.” He and his wife, Jennifer, were married in 1985 and are grateful to have spent the last 30 years doing ministry together. They have three grown children, four grandsons, and one granddaughter. In his free time, Jeff can be found at the golf course or at the beach fishing. He is also a massive Dodger fan.

Elder

John was born and raised in rural Michigan. His hometown was small with a population of fewer than 300 people. He attended Michigan State University and after graduating, he joined the United States Marine Corp and served on active duty from 1966-1969. He is a Vietnam veteran serving from 1967-68. He married his wife Cathy in 1969 and recently celebrated 54 years together. They have lived in Huntington Beach for almost 40 years. Kathy was a high school Spanish teacher and still works as a substitute in the Huntington Beach School District. They have two sons, Brian and Michael, both married, and two grandsons, Henry and Xavier. John retired from Mars, Inc after 20 years where he was Director of Raw Material Purchasing. He has been a member of Lighthouse for over 15 years.and was both humbled and honored to be asked to serve as an Elder.

Elder

Dee grew up in Corona del Mar, surfing, sailing and swimming. After college, he followed his father into the insurance trade. He and his wife Connie have raised four daughters and are blessed with thirteen grandchildren! Dee and Connie have been part of Lighthouse Church for close to two decades, and many years they’ve co-led a life group in their home.

Elder

Rich and his family have been members of Lighthouse Community Church since the merger with First Baptist Church in 1998. He and Joyce have been married for 40 years and have been serving at Lighthouse in various capacities. He currently leads a life group and coordinates the Men’s breakfast. He first served as a Deacon, became an Elder in 2005 and has served an additional five terms. He retired in 2010 from the Los Angeles Police Department as a Deputy Chief after 35 years of service.

Elder

Randy and his wife Patty, have been married over 48 years, were both born and raised in Southern California. Their daughter and son-in-law are teachers and have two boys (5 & 2) Randy’s desire to share the Good News has become second nature to him since giving his life to Christ. Forgiven and Blessed are more than just words to him now – they are his reality. Randy enjoys time with their Grandsons, woodworking, kayaking in Newport Bay, volunteering at Orange Rotary Club, barbecuing and relaxing with his wife, friends and neighbors.
