From greeting our guests with a smile to handing them a bulletin and answering any questions they might have, the welcome team plays an integral role in making people feel at home.

The worship team helps prepare our church to connect with God. There are several ways you can serve: either on stage as part of the worship team, or behind the scenes as part of our Audio-Visual team. Both are integral parts of our worship experience. If you have a desire to use your gifts for God’s glory, then we would love to have you join our team.

One of the greatest investments we can make is in our next generation. Each Sunday, our children gather in age-appropriate settings to build relationships and learn about Jesus. If you would like to be a part of Lighthouse Kids, we would love to talk with you.

Celebrating 25 years of being a bright light for our youth in Orange County, CA, we have reached 100,000+ students with prevention education regarding risky sexual behaviors.

California mandates sex education in public schools. Planned Parenthood supplies most of the state’s required curriculum on subjects such as STD’s, birth control, pornography, gender dysphoria and other explicit topics. Beacon of Light’s alternative, state-compliant curriculum shines a bright light on the TRUTH that Sex is a BIG DEAL with the goal of preventing life-long emotional and physical consequences of having sex at a young age.

We are expanding to reach all of California and beyond by training health teachers to reach their own students with the truth, and equipping parents with tools to talk to their pre-teens/teens.

The Someone Cares Kitchen has been providing a hot meal for 35 years to all who are hungry.  The serving hours are 12-3 pm Monday to Friday; 9-11 am Saturday and Sunday. Volunteers, 15 years or older are always needed 9-12 or 12-4 Mon to Fri; 7:30 am to 12 Sat and Sun. Volunteers are always needed. A free farmers market is held at the soup kitchen on the 4th Saturday of each month. Help is needed with se up and distribution of food. The hours to volunteer at the free markets are 11am-3pm.

Don crossed the Atlantic from his home in South Africa when he was in his 20’s as a crewmember on a small sailboat (without any prior sailing experience). Don met Jill, an Orange County native who has a heart for missions, about 38 years ago. They are now serving God in Costa Rica through their non-profit, Amor Costa Rica.  They have established five free English classes attended by more than 60 locals of all ages, because knowing English is the key to economic opportunity there.  They are also helping numerous families and individuals who have limited resources with food, school supplies, and job training.

Missionaries: Craig and Sarah Marshall

Craig and Sarah love being a part of helping to get God’s Word into the hands of those waiting to hear, and watching people have their aha moments as the Word speaks into lives. The Marshalls work in Southeast Asia in partnership with a large regional church denomination. Craig and Sarah worked alongside the Iyaru team, completing the New Testament in 2016, and now are helping consult and train other teams. Craig is also leading the Bible translation office of our main church partner, working towards a sustainable long-term plan for getting Bible translations underway for all the languages that need it in this region.  They long to see lives changed as people interact with the translated Word of God and come to understand the depth of God’s love for us all. Please prayerfully consider joining their Wycliffe ministry team through prayer and/or financial partnership.

Missionary: Becca Hooper

IEM’s vision is to “Make Disciples of All Nations”. Our three-fold mission is:

1. Evangelizing, Leadership Training & Church Planting (Matthew 28:18-20)
2. Supporting widows and orphans (James 1:27)
3. Doing good to the family of believers (Galatians 6:10)

We continue to support widows & orphans in Uganda and India. Our plan is to expand support for persecuted believers in Myanmar and Pakistan.

Missionary: Pastor Refugio & Laura Cuco

Operation Light, Halloween Night: Pastor Cuco and his team are on the front line partnering with churches in Tijuana, Rosarito, Ensenada, Mexicali & Tecate to evangelize on Halloween Night. More than 14,000 volunteers in several cities in Baja, California evangelize to more than 100,000 people in 4 hours in their own community. This is an excellent opportunity to talk about and share the love of God.

World Day Against Cancer: We continue to believe God for a miracle for all those who are fighting different types of cancer. We provide spiritual support and fellowship during those difficult times.

New Life: This is a book made especially for rehabilitation centers, prisons, and juvenile guardianships. Our goal is to deliver a book to every person undergoing rehabilitation.
