Here are some frequently asked questions for Lighthouse:
How large is the church?
We average 150-175 adults on a given Sunday morning. We have
seating for 200 in the lower orchestra area and 75 in the balcony area.
How does everyone dress?
Casual...from shorts and flip flops to jeans and suit coats.
How is the parking:
Plenty of parking at two parking lots and side streets.
What do we have for children:
We have a full program from Nursery to 6th grade...across the street from the worship center in the CE building...just follow the signs and you will find the sign in area and classrooms.
Do the youth stay in the service?
Our 7-12 grade youth begin in the worship center for a time of singing with the Praise Band (usually about 15 min) and then are excused to go across the street to the student ministries center with Pastor Egypt. (He leads them out)
What is the style of the service?
Our music is developed with 30-40 year olds in mind with a younger overall sound. An excellent band with keyboard, guitars and drums play Chris Tomlin, Matt Redman and other contemporary song selections with hymns used periodically as they are appropriate. The message is practical and biblically centered, an outline is provided. A main text is always focused on and people are encouraged to bring their bibles or use the ones provided under the seats. The service begins at l0am and ends promptly at 11:15am. Following the service we usually share and enjoy coffee and interaction.
